My mum is in New Zealand on holiday this mother’s day, sunning herself on a beach, whilst I sit in Edinburgh in surrounded by at least an inch of snow.
So needless to say I didn’t make these scones for her… Fresh scones are always best, so when she gets back I’ll whip her up another batch.
However it is so easy that to make these scones from scratch – it takes less than 1 hour. So you can make these even last minute.
However don’t worry that I wasted these scones just eating them myself. I took these out to my Mother in law who loves scones, she even asked for the recipe 🙂
